1958-59 College Basketball Season

For the 1958-1959 season, NBC held the rights to air college basketball, with Lindsey Nelson as the primary announcer.

There appears to still have been limitations to the games carried in this schedule (the Pacific Coast Conference wasn't covered due to time purposes, the Big Ten and (with one exception) the Atlantic Coast Conference due to their own regional networks), but a wider range of games were contracted than had been the case in prior seasons.

As always, additional information concerning these broadcasts shall be much appreciated.
