2024 NTT IndyCar Series
This was the final year of IndyCar's 3-year contract extension signed with NBC Sports in 2021. On June 13th, it was announced that FOX would become the exclusive television home of IndyCar beginning in 2025, ending the series' 6-year exclusivity to the NBC family of networks. It also marks the end of the longer relationship between IndyCar and the Comcast/NBCUniversal family of channels, dating back to the first races broadcast on Versus in 2009.
Leigh Diffey left the broadcast booth after Iowa to work NBC's Olympics coverage, and is expected to take over as lead announcer for the NASCAR Cup Series through the end of the season, with Kevin Lee taking over in IndyCar.
